While we catch our breath before the 2008 wedding season starts in again, we are playing with HD camera research and enjoying our hometown of Oshkosh, WI being transformed into a 1930′s movie set.  Bruce is fast at work mastering the ins and outs of the new Sony Z7U High Def camera. It is an amazing camera and we can’t wait to get more of them and begin shooting weddings in glorious high definition. While we aren’t sure when we will be asked to shoot in HD, we feel we owe it to our customers to be on top of this new technology.  And, when you compare the visual sharpness of HD with standard definition shooting, it is unbelievable.

Oshkosh is being used for filming parts of the new Johnny Depp movie about John Dillenger and the FBI called "Public Enemies".  There are several other sites in Wisconsin that are being used.  It has been exciting to watch the transformation from modern store fronts to those of the 1930′s. The movie is slated for it’s premier in July of 2009!

Bruce has been capturing the transformation and should have a small HD video clip to share with you soon. It’s nice to have something going on in town while he plays with the camera!

We also got a new company vehicle and had our name put on it. Very sharp vehicle and we think it will draw attention to our growing business.
