Our son Ben recently completed a 50K run, which equates to almost 32 miles.  Most of it was on hilly cross country trails, with rain.  Lots of mud and many people were falling down.  It was actually thundering and lightning all the way down to the race and up to 20 minutes before start time.  But Ben did very well and did not allow the forces of nature to break his focus.

We always wondered how bad the traffic was in Door County during the Labor Day weekend, so we thought we would drive up and see.
