We had a great time yesterday filming our last official wedding. Nick and Bonnie were great. I don’t think Bonnie stopped dancing all night. We quit shooting video after the special dances and spent the rest of the night taking pictures. Nicks dad is our video partner. His company is going to shoot all future weddings and we are going to do the editing.

After seeing DeAnna and Todd at a wedding this weekend, I was reminded of how much they loved the wedding video we filmed for them.  In the midst of switching over our website, I neglected to include the video.  Enjoy the show.  It was a beautiful wedding and one of our best weddings.  We showed it at the Wedding show in Green Bay last January and got great comments from all who watched and even some tears.

There are some very exciting changes taking place between My Memories Forever Video Production and MVP Wedding Films. We are enhancing our resources and abilities by forming a partnership.

My Memories Forever Video Productions, LLC has been involved in wedding productions for 9 years. Our dedication to understanding our clients and helping them preserve special moments is recognized by our referral work within the families and friends of our clients.

 MVP has been a family owned and operated business since 1983 and has been involved in filming weddings, dance recitals, and corporate work.  The work of MVP  is second to none.  Though both of our companies will continue to be run independently, My Memories Forever Video Production will no longer be filming  weddings.  MVP Wedding Films will take over the booking process, as well as the shooting of the weddings.  My Memories Forever Video Production will edit and produce all of the weddings.

 Although the shooting styles are very similar, there is still a difference in the final look of the video.  There will be samples from both our websites to view. If you prefer one style over another, we can edit with that in mind.   Our merging will combine our filming and production resources. It will  also allow us to concentrate on our individual talents to make your bridal production  better than ever.

Really looking forward to Melissa’s wedding this weekend. It is on a Sunday, which is different than our normal Saturday for weddings. We get to work with one of our favorite people, Tim Dorsey. He will be doing the singing and church and then off to the reception for DJ duties. Always entertaining.

Just a little teaser clip of Dana and Brian.  I am having a blast editing this wedding.  They were not only a fun and very cool couple, the family was also very friendly.

We had one of our most grueling weddings recent memory yesterday. It was also one of the most fun and fulfilling. Dana and Brian were a beautiful couple. We were invited to her brothers wedding only a couple of years ago and then her best friends wedding last year, so I feel like I know her. Dana has one of the best personalities I have ever seen. Always a huge grin on her face. Brian we did not know before the wedding, but he really won the lottery with Dana. I will be posting a small teaser clip just as soon as I can.

Really looking forward to our first wedding of the year this Friday. Gonna be a blast.

We had a blast at our monthly Northeast Wi videographers association meeting. A great chance to share technology and ideas.

We had a great meeting with our first wedding couple of the year. Although i don’t really know Dana or her parents, I feel like I know them very well after seeing them in 2 of our previous weddings, one of which was her brother. What a fun wedding this is going to be. Got some awesome sound bites from both Dana and her fiance, Brian.

Meeting with our first bride and groom tomorrow night. The wedding is April 30. Should be a fun evening. The bride is bringing her parents and we will be recording everyone for audio sound bites in the final video. I have not talked to the parents or bride much at all, but have seen them in 3 of the wedding videos we have produced so I feel like they are good friends of mine. Hard to explain, but when you spend 40 hours looking at video, you really start to feel a connection.

One of our package add-ons is a movie poster with your wedding information on it.
The posters are 24 x 36 inches.  They are stunning to look at.  We can actually print anything
on them, so they could also be used for anniversary’s or special occasions.

We have some very exciting weddings this year.  A couple of our brides we have known for a few years now from sibblings weddings and friends of friends weddings are getting married.  Now they are getting married and have asked us to capture the wedding day.  That is really the ultimate compliment we can get, to be asked by someone that has seen our work to be a part of their wedding day.  Can’t wait for a couple of these.

A recent article that Janell and I wrote about some of the equipment we use.  After purchasing and testing out the product we wanted to write a review of it.

Well it seems that either have 4 projects going at the same time and have to work through the weekend, or I don’t have anything at all to do.  I should appreciate the fact that I am all caught up for now.  More editing ahead next week.
