We are having a photowalk this Saturday, the 14th of May.  We will be meeting in Memorial Park in Appleton at 10:00.  We will hopefully have some new flowers blooming.  We can go to other locations from there if anyone has any ideas.  Very informal, and as usual, totally free.  Bring whatever camera you have and just have fun.

We had a great time yesterday filming our last official wedding. Nick and Bonnie were great. I don’t think Bonnie stopped dancing all night. We quit shooting video after the special dances and spent the rest of the night taking pictures. Nicks dad is our video partner. His company is going to shoot all future weddings and we are going to do the editing.

Our first ever Photo Walk went very well. We shot some interesting pictures at a very old cemetery, and then to the flats area. It went as I had hoped. We all shared things with each other and learned new things. We really want to stress that this is meant to be a learning experience. We are also encouraging people to bring smart phones for getting shots. We will be trying to do these every month.

I know we are way beyond thinking how beautiful a fresh snowfall can be, but as a photographer, I could not help myself and see what kind of images I could capture. Having said that, it is time to move on with some beautiful spring photographs.

We will be meeting in City Park in Appleton at 10:00 am. We have a couple of interesting locations to shoot at. One of the things we are most excited about is the sharing of knowledge.
